INFORMATION: In the beautiful Parvati valley of Kullu District in Himachal Pradesh. SAR Pass is one of the most popular trails of the Shivalik range of the mighty Himalayas. Parvati valley abounds in natural beauty with snow-clad mountains, perennial rivulets, streams and waterfalls, picturesque meadows in the midst of dense forests of Devdar and Fir trees, which beckon the young adventure lover to come and experience the serene and calm atmosphere of all-pervading nature.
SAR Pass Trail offers an opportunity to enjoy the exquisite beauty of the Parvati valley with Kasol, Tila Lotni, Biskeri and Manikaran as its beauty spots. Kasol is famous for its cool and pleasant climate and tall pine trees. Tila Lotni can literally be called the little ICE LAND, where one can experience the challenges of nature in full fury, during spine chilling cold nights. The splendid views of snowy peaks offer an endless feast to the eyes. Biskeri fascinates the trekkers with its sweet grasses, wildflowers and a variety of birds. Hot water springs of Manikaran, are bliss. A natural hot water bath at these springs relieves you of all the tiredness and rejuvenates the body, mind and soul with new energy.
How to Reach
By Road: Kasol is well connected to Delhi. Take an overnight Volvo bus from Delhi to Bhuntar(490 Kms) and then a local taxi or bus from Bhuntar to reach Kasol(Roughly 50 minutes & 30 Kms journey). You will reach Kasol in 11 ‐ 12 hours (approx 520 KMS). Tickets can be booked online at www.redbus.in or www.hrtc.gov.in All buses from Delhi to Manali/Kullu go through Bhuntar, so just inform the conductor to drop you there. Tip: Since Delhi to Bhuntar is a long journey most Volvo private buses leave Delhi between 5 pm and 6 pm. The last govt bus leaves at 8.30 pm from ISBT Kashmere Gate. Volvo buses charges between Rs. 1,000 to 1,400 per sector from Delhi to Bhuntar and vice versa. Bhuntar to Delhi: Like the onward journey, buses leave from Bhuntar to Delhi between 5 and 6 p.m.
Your tentative arrival at Delhi may be anywhere between 6 a.m and 10 a.m. Plan your onward journeys only post noon giving enough buffer for bus delays.
By Train: Nearest Railway station is Ambala (350 kms) and Chandigarh (310 kms). Tip: Regular Volvo and Buses are available from Chandigarh to Bhuntar in the evening. Volvo buses charges between Rs.700 to Rs.1,000 per sector from Chandigarh to Manali and vice versa. All buses from Delhi to Manali/Kullu go through Bhuntar, so just inform the conductor to drop you there at Bhuntar. Local taxis or buses are available from Bhuntar to reach Kasol(Roughly 50 minutes & 30 Kms journey).
By Air: Take a flight from Delhi to Bhuntar (also known as Kullu airport) and then a bus or cab to Kasol. Bhuntar which is 32 km away from Kasol, is the nearest airport. Taxi services are available from Bhuntar to Kasol, which costs about Rs.700‐ Rs. 1,000. Bhuntar is well connected to Delhi by air. The airliners that take you to this Airport are Indian Airlines, Kingfisher airlines, MDLR Airlines and Jagson Airlines, operating flights from Delhi and Chandigarh to Kullu.

Cancellation Policy:
Note: Normally we expect to carry your personal luggage on your own if you don’t want to carry your backpack so you can give it to porter/Mules, but you have to inform us in advance and have to pay Rs.800/- extra per day per bag.

Paying the Trek/ Adventure activity fee:
The fee can be paid by online transfer/check deposit/ demand draft. Instruction for payment will be forwarded along with your confirmation email.
When your transfer is done, please e-mail us a confirmation mail with your transfer details, so that we can follow up your reservation efficiently.
When to book:
It is wise to make your booking at least two months in advance. However, if you want a good deal on your domestic/international flight, we recommend organizing your trip at least five months in advance. (Please contact us if you require a late booking)
In the event of cancellation of trek/adventure activity services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reasons, we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows: –

For all Card payments – Payment received by Cards and if there is any refund, such refund will be done through the respective cards Financial Institutions and credited to the same card. The charges for transaction to be borne by the guests.

What happens after you book?
Changes in pre-defined tour program:
Arrive at Kasol Base Camp on your own by morning and complete the registration. An orientation session will be given by the chief organizer in the evening. It will cover the information like rucksack packing, marching/walking technique and general awareness about the trek route. Take acclimatization walk around the base camp in the evening at around 5 PM. Have your dinner and stay overnight at Kasol Base Camp.
Wake up to the beautiful Himalayan sunrise at Base Camp. Have breakfast and start your exciting trek! The easy trail from Hrhan Nalaj which is frequently used by locals will take you to through pine forests. In a couple of hours, you will be able to cover much of the distance as the trail is easy to climb. After reaching the Grahan Nahal, the trail becomes rocky and steep. The locals say that the Rhododendron petals can be eaten whole and the syrup can be mixed with water to make a refreshing drink. You can definitely try that when in the Himalayas! The steep climb of an hour will take you to your destination for the day. Reach Grahan Village by evening and freshen up. Have your dinner and stay overnight at the Homestay along with a bonfire
Have breakfast in the morning and start your Day Hike towards the north of the camping ground at Grahan. You will bump into many locals on the way using the Min Thatch trail. After walking a little more, you will see the Min Thatch, Nagaru and Sar top on the mountains. The steeper trails will take you to the woods. You will have to be careful on this trail as the steep slope and the snow will make the trek difficult here. After a difficult trek for 2 3 hours, you will finally reach the Nagaru campsite. Enjoy the mesmerizing vistas of magnificent mountain across the Parvati valley. Spend some time at the top and descent back to Grahan. Reach Grahan Village by evening and freshen up. Have your dinner and stay overnight at the Homestay along with bonfire
After breakfast start your descent from Grahan village. Reach our campsite in Kasol by afternoon. Your amazing trek to the SAR PASS Circuit concludes here
